Postcard from Brighton...
So I thought it must be about time for an update. I have almost completed 2 weeks in my new job in Brighton. Here is my verdict...
* I can see the Pavilion from my window (even though it is through some railings and some bugger keeps chaining their bike up in the middle of my view)
* I have a lovely modern office all to myself, and only work with one other person who is usually out of the office (could get lonely, but I do have radio 1 to keep me company)
* I have access to every type of shop you could think of (I will wait for my bank statement to see if this is a good thing)
* I finish half an hour earlier (but get home at the same time)
* I have a 15 minute walk from the station to start my metabolism (unfortunately it's uphill on the way home)
* I get to swan off up to London occasionally (but will have to brave an early train, or the Blackwall Tunnel to get there)
All in all I am loving it. It is a really busy role and I am already having a big involvement in marketing campaigns, direct mail and website development. I just need to stay away from the shops and I might actually get to see some of that pay increase.
